I have tried them on two occasions. Both times they started off brilliant, smooth with good character. I can't describe the nuances as well as other reviewers.
But both times the reconstruction let me down. One started to tunnel in the last third, and both times they got soft and mushy. I wish they weren't priced against the dollar and then I'll be prepared to try them a few more times.
I cut off the tunneling and am smoking the stump as we speak. PS. My American smoking mate totally enjoyed it even though it went mushy.
Love the taste still and if I was confident of the construction I would buy more.

Disappointment for me. While well constructed, even draw and good smoke output it lacked depth of flavour and character. I left it after a short attempt and went for something more character filled . Soz Bongani, I had so much hope...?

Robust and proud. Smooth easy draw right to the nub. Nice flirt with the sinuses enjoyed the distinct richness flavour. Proudly African and worthy of a spot in my box.
